A Woman of Action: X-Wing 2.0 Build

By Barclay Montgomery | March 20th, 2019 | Categories: Star Wars Tactics, X-Wing 2.0

Poe Dameron

This new Resistance pilot will give even the legendary Poe Dameron a run for his credits in X-Wing 2.0! Get those afterburners running hot!

Kare Kun

Kare Kun is a new Resistance Ace that will have First Order heads spinning after she engages them in aerial combat. As a T-70 X-Wing pilot, Kare has the crazy ability to be able to use the 1 turn for her boosts. A distinct note is that Kare may choose to use the 1 turn and is not prohibited from using her normal boost, which can be useful either way.

Keeping the First Order on their toes will be her forte, and can be made even more satisfying once you equip a BB Astromech. BB Astromech

This plucky little droid acts similarly to the legendary BB-8 as it can give you more action potential before you execute a maneuver. Before you execute a blue maneuver, you may spend 1 energy to perform a barrel roll action.

This can set Kare Kun up for some serious arc dodging with a barrel roll before her maneuver, and a boost using her 1 turn. Integrated S-foils (open)

Integrated S-Foils is a new upgrade for your Resistance T-70 pilots. In the open position, there are no benefits or drawbacks, but can be closed in a pinch before you activate. Closing the S-Foils may reduce your attack potential, but they increase your maneuverability. Integrated S-foils (closed)

Integrate S-Foils in the Closed position add the barrel roll action and a linked focus, barrel roll option to your T-70. While you perform a primary attack, if the defender is not in your bulls-eye firing arc, you roll 1 fewer attack dice.

This may not be as big of a drawback for Kare Kun, who can get precisely where she needs to be with her BB Astro maneuvers and 1 turn boosts. Catch the First Order off guard with a new woman of action for the Resistance in X-Wing 2.0!
