The Villains have a new power team that is ready to dominate the meta game in Star Wars Destiny. Come and see what power Villains can wield.
The new Kylo Ren is a force to be reckoned with! Not only does he feature a powerful melee archetype, but he also has a powerfully strong ability.. After you activate Kylo, you may choose a color, then reveal a random card in your opponent’s hand. If it matches the color you chose, deal 2 damage to a character. This is an aggressive tactic that punishes opponent’s that choose mono colored decks. FN-2199 is a relentless elite Stormtrooper that is super fast on the draw. His ability to roll a weapon die as soon as he is equipped is an amazing use of action cheating. His melee oriented dice augment and enhance K ylo Ren and enable massive damage potential.
The Crossguard Lightsaber is Kylo’s signature weapon. With supportive melee sides and an interesting special ability, this is a great combo. After you play this upgrade on Kylo, you deal 1 damage to a character. The special ability deals 2 damage to a character, or 3 if that character has shields. Either way, someone will be feeling the damage!
The Ancient Lightsaber is an excellent addition to this deck. Since it has no Blue character only restrictions it can be equipped to FN-2199 no sweat. This is great for keeping the pressure on your enemies. Ancient Lightsaber adds melee support and has a nifty action ability to heal 2 damage from its attached character.
Since the Villains have powerful dice, they usually come with a resource cost downside. This can be mitigated with the Imperial HQ support. Before you resolve a die showing a resource cost, you may exhaust Imperial HQ to reduce that resource cost by 1. This is a great way to get your dice resolved even with no natural resources.
Powerful and aggressive is the Villain way. Have you encountered the new baddies of Destiny?
