Obi-Wan is piloting his Delta-7 Aethersprite into the battles of X-Wing 2.0 as an excellent supporting wingman. Lead your men into battle with a Jedi!
Obi-Wan Kenobi has just entered the battle out of hyperspace, and he is ready to engage enemy fighters in X-Wing 2.0. Obi-Wan is an initiative 5 pilot with an interesting pilot ability that can affect both him and his fellow squad-mates. After a friendly ship at range 0-2 spends a focus token, you may spend 1 Force charge to allow that ship to gain 1 focus token. With a recurring Force charge of 3, Obi-Wan will be able to hand out those focus tokens to himself and his fellow wingmates like candy!
Obi-Wan will equip his Aethersprite with a Calibrated Laser Targeting system. This upgrade allows Obi-Wan to add 1 focus result to an attack if the enemy is inside his bulls-eye firing arc. That focus result can be changed to a hit with either a focus token or a Force charge, but Obi-Wan can replenish his own focus if he uses it for his Calibrated Laser attack!
The Squad
A generic Jedi Knight will be flying with Obi-Wan. This initiative 3 Aethersprite has Fine-Tuned Controls that allow it to spend 1 Force charge after it fully executes a maneuver to perform a boost or barrel roll. Also of note, the Aethersprite ships come with a purple evade action, which allows it to spend 1 Force charge to gain an evade token. Depending on your situation will determine if you need an extra boost or an evade.
If you want to make your Jedi Knight super evasive, the Brilliant Maneuver Force ability will ensure that you can dodge even the most deadly attack. While you defend, if you are not in the defender’s bulls-eye arc, you may spend 1 Force charge to change 2 of your focus results to evades. Not a bad evasive maneuver for only 1 Force charge!
