jabba

Jabba has a new lease on life in Star Wars Destiny, and he is as dangerous as ever. Don’t underestimate a Hutt Crimelord on Tatooine!

Jabba the Hutt Renknowned Gangster

Jabba the Hutt is back with a brand new card for Destiny. This time he’s a Rare, so it will be easier to get your hands on some criminal under-dealings. Jabba is still reluctant to get his hands dirty, as his character dice show no damage sides, but he has his ways of dealing with upstarts. 2 focus, 1 resource, 1 resource, and 2 special ability sides may not look like much, but his special ability can have the Heroes reeling.

Deal indirect damage to an opponent equal to the number of your dice showing a special ability side, including Jabba’s character die. This can be coupled quite nicely with Cunning or any other special ability die that you wish to unleash.

Extreme Hubris

Since Jabba is always right, you can use his Extreme Hubris. This 2 cost Yellow Event allows you to spot 2 Yellow characters, or Jabba, and resolve one of your character dice without removing it from your pool. This can give you extra mileage from one of Jabba’s special ability dice or any other powerful dice combo you have up your sleeve! Sticky Situation

Jabba is known for putting people he deals with into Sticky Situations. This 1 cost Yellow Event puts your opponent in a difficult spot. Force an opponent to choose a die. Then remove a different die. Either way, you are removing a die from their pool, and the one they choose to keep may reveal part of their plan. Perfect for a Crime Lord! Paid Off

The ultimate in Scum dealings is to use your opponent’s strengths against them. With Paid Off, you can give an opponent 2 of your resources to resolve one of their characters or upgrade dice as if it were your own. This removes one of their dice, and it also uses it against your opponent; a 2 for 1 deal!

This would be the perfect follow up to Sticky Situation. The Crime Lord of Tatooine is still in business in Star Wars Destiny! Do you dare deal with him?
