Jedi Commander: Using Luke in Star Wars Legion

By Barclay Montgomery | April 17th, 2019 | Categories: Star Wars Legion, Star Wars Tactics

Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker may not have the raw power that his father Darth Vader does, but he is still a formidable commander in Star Wars Legion. Learn the Jedi way!

Luke Skywalker is ready to lead the charge in Star Wars Legion! Luke is very maneuverable with his speed of 2 and Jump 1, which allows him to ignore terrain that is height 1 or lower when he performs a move action.

Luke Skywalker

Luke will get in close and put his Lightsaber to good use with Charge, making sure that he gets a melee attack after he moves. Luke is also packing a trusty DL-44 Blaster Pistol for engagements that are within range 1-2. Luke is a well-rounded character to lead your Rebel forces. Targeting Scopes

Since Luke is packing a sidearm, go with Targeting Scopes for a gear upgrade. This gives Luke Precise 1 whenever he is attacking and can help either with his melee or ranged attacks. This can help Luke be more accurate in his attacks, which can free him up to jump around engagements once he defeats his foes with aim token re-rolls!

Battle Meditation

Being a Skywalker, Luke is strong in the Force. Battle Meditation is a superb Force upgrade for Luke. This Force power makes sure that your troops can hear their orders, no matter where they are on the battlefield. When Luke issues orders, he can issue an order to any friendly unit on the battlefield, regardless of range. Reach out with your feelings!

Jedi Mind Trick

When engagements get heavy, use Mind Trick to subvert your Imperial foes. This Force power allows Luke to choose an enemy trooper unit at range 1-2 to gain 2 suppression tokens. This can suppress a squad enough for Luke to get in and attack unimpeded. Use Luke Skywalker as your commander in your next Legion game and he will be a Force multiplier, guaranteed!
