Even though you may be the Dark Lord of the Sith, sometimes you just need to roll your sleeves up and start cutting down the Jedi yourself!
Palpatine, Darth Sidious is ready to take up his Lightsaber against the Jedi! Being more aggressive than his previous version, Palpatine is no less dangerous. 2 ranged, 2 melee, 2 indirect damage, and 2 sides featuring 1 resource make him able to crush your foes no matter what he rolls. He also comes with an incredible power action. You may play an Event from your hand, decreasing its cost by the number of different damage symbols showing in your dice. This can get some of the more expensive Events out of your hand in a hurry to thwart the plans of the Heroes. The perfect partner for Palpatine is his Conflicted Apprentice.
Anakin Skywalker fits right in with an elite Palpatine. His melee sides can help enable Palpatine’s power action andeven if you can’t afford those Events, you may use Anakin’s special ability to your advantage. You may discard a villain card from your hand to deal 2 damage to a character. Powerful you have become!
After you exhaust your characters, they may appear vulnerable, but not so! Snare is an insidious card the can be used to its full potential with Palpatine’s power action. For 3 resources, or at a discount with Palpatine’s power action, Snare allows you to exhaust a character, but only if you have one or more exhausted characters. This is a great way to prevent a powerful Hero character from activating in a round by exhausting them before the activate! This can cripple their game plan and leave them vulnerable. Just what a Sith Lord would like! 
Now that you have ensnared your foes, hit them with a Double Strike. This 2 cost Event allows you to resolve one of your melee dice without removing it from your pool. This is a fantastic way of striking your foes again and again with powerful melee dice from the power of the Sith! Choose your apprentice wisely and he will serve you well!
