Recoil In Terror: X-Wing 2.0 Tie Silencer Tactics

TIE Silencer

TIE Silencer pilots are the most elite First Order pilots in the galaxy. Recoil is ready to destroy his enemies no matter where they end up on his scopes and scanners!

Kylo Ren isn’t the only horrifically good TIE Silencer pilot in X-wing 2.0. Recoil is an initiative 4 pilot that will make use of his bullseye arc, whether your enemies are in it or not. Recoil has the ability to treat enemy ships inside his forward arc as if they were in his bullseye arc, as long as he is stressed.

Recoil

His built-in Autothrusters ability can help you get that stress you need as well, allowing for a boost or barrel roll after you perform an action!

Predator

Since Recoil will have an auto bullseye arc if he is stressed, use Predator as your Elite option. Predator allows Recoil to reroll 1 attack die if his opponent is in his bullseye arc. If Recoil is stressed, his whole forward arc is his bullseye arc, so get those rerolls!

Afterburners

All of that stress can add up, so Afterburners can help Recoil get into a better position. After performing a speed 3-5 maneuver, Afterburners allows Recoil to perform a boost action, even if he is stressed. This can keep your stressed TIE Silencer mobile even as the stress adds up.

Proton Rockets

Once you have all of your stars aligned, Recoil will use Proton Rockets. As a bullseye arc attack at range 1-2, Proton Rockets blasts off with 5 dice. Since Recoil has his entire forward arc dedicated to the bullseye, Proton Rockets will be a superb finisher.
