Our favorite TIE Phantom is whispering echoes to us about its new tactics. Come and listen in to get the latest X-wing 2.0 intel!
Echo is back in X-Wing 2.0, ready to fake out on maneuvers and confuse even other Imperial pilots as to where she will end up next! Echo has the nifty built-in ability to use the 2 bank when decloaking, which opens up innumerable different flight path options for the crafty Phantom pilot.
A Stygium Array also helps when decloaking, giving Echo an evade token which can be used to avoid incoming damage or even to re-cloak at the End Phase to gain back a cloak token.
Since Echo will be doing her own thing, Lone Wolf will give her more freedom of movement. This elite upgrade allows you to spend 1 charge to reroll 1 of your dice when you are defending or attacking, as long as no other friendly ships are within range 0-2 of Echo. This can work out even if you do find yourself close to other friendlies as Echo can simply decloak away and catch her prey off guard, and with a reroll to bear!
Even the most experienced Phantom pilots can become disoriented with their dizzying array of maneuver options, so it helps to have a Seasoned Navigator on board. As a crew upgrade, Seasoned Navigator can allow you to set your dial to another non-red maneuver of the same speed after you reveal your dial.
This can help you get on target when you find that your decloak took you off course from your intended target. Keep in mind that the new maneuver must have its difficulty increased, which could result in a stress token, but it could all be worth it.
To add another level of unpredictability to Echo, use Advanced Sensors. This system upgrade allows you to perform an action after you reveal your dial, which can be used before you use your Seasoned Navigator ability to still get your action despite increasing the difficulty of your maneuver. Keep the Rebels and Scum guessing as to where Echo will end up next in X-Wing 2.0!
