Baby Yoda from the Mandalorian has exploded across the internet. In fact, you probably can’t scroll down facebook for more than a minute without seeing Baby Yoda. However, if you can’t get enough of him through Star Wars or 989,247 memes, there’s also a ton of them that you can print out from your own 3D printer.  Although sadly, our favorite seems to still seems have been removed from the internet.

Anycubic Photon Printers Are Great For Miniatures

We’ve seen 3D printers grow in popularity as more and more people are beginning to print their own models. With this being said, it’s picking up speed and becoming more popular.  But why now all of a sudden you ask? Well, it’s a complicated question that may have a lot to do with both supply vs. demand, and perceived necessity by hobbyists.

Enter the Anycubic line of 3D printers that seem to be taking the hobby by storm, and both are on sale quite frequently on Amazon.

In 2019 it’s even easier for hobbyists to source and print bits, perhaps more so than any of us had thought.  The undeniable allure is that it’s not too expensive for any person to get into 3D printing in order to monetize and/or supplement their hobby.

This Chaincannon was spotted on eBay from Kojo1231 going for $4 per bit.

Our Favorite Baby Yoda Model

space baby objective marker

So this little guy was first spotted on Shapeways as a 3D printable bit. Be sure to check out our initial coverage of the model if you haven’t already. He’s small to scale and is perfect for a little objective marker, or maybe just a bit to add some flair to your model. (i.e Baby Yoda and Mortarion, Baby Yoda and a Vindicaire Assassin, etc.).

Our friend and 3 time Golden Demon winner, Gabe of Thorns did an incredible job at painting this little dude!

Gabe of Thorns definitely nailed the model in terms of detail. But unfortunately this model was taken down from Shapeways.

More Baby Yodas

There are far more Baby Yoda Models out there though, both big and small from places like Thingiverse and Prusa Printers.

With all of this covered, will you be throwing a Baby Yoda onto the table as an objective marker? Were you quick enough to get the Baby Yoda in the hover stroller?
