40k Rumors from White Dwarf #42

By Rob Baer | November 11th, 2014 | Categories: News & Rumors

Broodlord - Copy

Looks like it’s confirmed the Tyranids are getting a new combo kit next week, AND a new Campaign Book as previously reported.

Shield of Baal: Leviathan looks to be the big release along with the new Zoanthrope slated for a November 21st release.

But of course the title of that new Campaign begs the obvious question; Where are the Blood Angels?!!!

Hopefully all will be revealed soon, but here’s the latest, courtesy of BoLS and the Web.

Hello everybody, seems like the Blood Angels players need to be patient. No Blood Angels in the first part of the new Campaign.

– Venomthropes look excessively good (IMO)

– On the cover of the Paint Guide is a Broodlord, I first thought it was the one from SH when glancing at it but realized it was actually a model I didn’t know.

– Rules for Zoanthrope broods in the WD.

– Shield of Baal is AM + Tempestus + SoB vs Nids. Rules inside are for Tyranids. It’s a Nagash type of dual books.

– It is the first part of a campaign, those are the worlds actually protecting the Blood Angel ones.

– End of the WD said that in the next one we will be back to End Times.
