What’s Wrong With 40k Tournaments?

Attendance seems to be at an all time low across the country for 7th ed. Warhammer 40k Events, indicating what many say may be industry wide problem.

So what’s wrong, and how can we fix it?

Seems like everyone has an idea about it, but it’s my opinion that the community leaders may be the one’s that need to step up and work together to perhaps make a standardized set of guidelines that both they and other smaller events can work with.

Weather it be a unified FAQ, Mission Set, Scoring Standards, or even a minimum date for a codex can have released by to be legal for a particular event, I feel like something may be needed to be done soon to re-energize Warhammer 40k organized play (even with consideration given to bigger events and their attendance needs).

More from me soon about this, but seriously folks leave your (hopefully constructive) ideas in the comments below and let’s get a jump on a solution that we can all get behind. -MBG
