We finally got our hands on a Grex Airbrush for a video! This fantastic airbrush is a great option for your airbrushing needs. Grex has been around for a long while, mainly focusing on air tools. 10 or so years ago they started manufacturing an airbrush system, and they have made great strides in making quality airbrushes. Let’s take a look and start seeing this wonderful airbrush in action.

There are pros and cons to owning an airbrush, and Grex is no exception. Upon opening the box, you can see your nice Grex airbrush neatly displayed inside its case. Extra reservoirs, a wrench for uninstalling certain components, and an extra airbrush head come in the kit. Before getting into the other features of the Grex airbrush, we must compare them to other airbrushes on the market.
Here we have the Grex side-by-side with the Iwata and H&S airbrushes. The Iwata and Grex airbrushes are closer in price around $170 while the H&S is set above them at around $250, so keep that in mind. The H&S has higher end components than the Iwata or Grex, but that does not mean there is a loss in quality.
The Grex airbrush is hefty in its weight, but the ergonomics are on point with its rubber padding. Grex Airbrush Cleaner is a great product that they also make to help clean out your airbrush. The cleaner is concentrated, so just add a lot of water and you are good to go.
The Grex airbrush is great for beginners, but the learning curve might be a little higher. The needle guard on the front is magnetic, so keep that in mind when using it.
Overall it’s a great airbrush, but perhaps it’s Grex’s stellar customer service that will make the difference for your purchase decision. Give them a call or email if you ever need anything and they will take care of it FAST!
