GW’s New Bases, How Do They Stack Up? REVIEW

The latest batch of new plastic bases from GW are here, but how do they stack up this time? Is this something you would buy for your army?

Games Workshop’s latest base offering is finally here, and this time it’s for the Age of Sigmar -but don’t let that stop you from using them for your 40k figures however.

For the price and quality, it’s going to be pretty hard to beat those new basing kit prices. Plus, painting them in a ton of different styles is going to be a quick job.

Overall the new designs are great looking, and there is no disputing the value of getting so many bases on the cheap, but how do they stack up detail wise?

That’s where, like the US presidential election opinion seems to vary widely, and judging by our previous reviews of 40k’s Sector Imperialis bases these will be no different.

Overall I’d rate the new bases 2.5 out of 5 spikeys, with a side of ask the Magic 8 ball again.
