Cryptic teasers for next week’s release as Astra Militarum codex has been discontinued? Checkout the latest!
If you blinked yesterday, you may have missed quite a bit. The new White Dwarf started leaking, and we have what looks to be an amazing new formation that lets you combine Mechanicus with Imperial Knignts, and grants some pretty powerful ‘freebies’ to the units selected for it.
Next up was the new release teaser of ‘hit fast, hit hard’ (translated from French)

And then if that wasn’t cryptic enough, the Astra Militarum codex seems to have been discontinued off Games Workshop’s webstore.
Not temporarily out of stock, or sold out. The Astra Militarum codex is according to GW ‘No Longer Available’.
Compare the recently sold out Eldar Jet Bikes with the picture for codex A.M., and it does indeed seem to be rotating out of stock.
Seems like a very short life cycle for a book that is barely as old as the previous Imperial Knight book from last year.
It is entirely possible that they are perhaps combining codex A.M. with the Scions book, but it is also possible that the teaser is foreshadowing another Codex A.M. release as well.
One thing seems for sure, this has been one heck of year release-wise for Warhammer 40,000.
