The website also offers various tutorials on how to use the Chameleon paints. Each box also comes with the instruction manuals. They come in normal size dropper bottles and are very thinned down paints. Since they are extremely thin, they will need many coats to achieve an effect. You can brush them on, but you do not get the same effects. When using them in the airbrush, they will dry and get gummy in the pot, so constant mixing and cleaning is required.
The bases used were primed with a black with semi-gloss shine (left) as well as a black steel (right). When you move the bases, there is iridescence on the paint. Each paint on base does not look like the paint when it sits in the bottle. Each color does show up a little differently on the steel than on the black primer. The shimmers are rich then have an underlying colour that shows up on rivets and other details, as well as shimmering on the base itself.
