Also know as Tactical Dreadnought Armor, Terminator armor offers some of the best opportunities for hobbyists to convert and personalize their models.

Owning to the model’s larger surfaces and multiple weapon options, Terminators seem to be a fan favorite for all Astartes players.

This kit seems to be one of the best offering yet for terminators, borrowing heavily on the ascetics of the Space Hulk models of the same name.

It’s sprues literally come jam packed with all sorts of bits, from angel wings and blood drops to multiple ornate weapon options, it’s all in there.

That level or options may be the reason Games Workshop decided to produce the legs and torsos differently this time around, and left the legs attached to the back torsos.

With the exception of the sergeant option, they also left the heads molded into the front torso bits as well.

At least that’s what it looks like to us at least. I’d really hate to think that Games Workshop did it in guerrilla attempt to stymie the second hand bits market for these kits.

Either way, the new Assault Squad kit seems to be another home run in both design and utility, and I can’t wait to see what’s in coming next for the Warhammer 40k range!
