Painting Iron Father Feirros: Cyberpunk Style!

iron hands how to paint cyberpunkJack of Clubs Painting is back with another awesome painting tutorial. The Iron Father himself, Ferrios, is the subject of a Cyberpunk style paint scheme.

Jack of Clubs Painting is kicking off another Iron Hands painting tutorial, going for a cyberpunk feel. Trying new stuff with cool and alternating color light sources will give this model a new paint scheme. Two different positional light sources is the theme of this paint scheme, to achieve a cyberpunk feel.

FerriosPro Acryl Dark Purple is our first color over black priming. The idea is to capture two different directional light sources reflecting off of his dark armor. This high contrast is airbrushed from a high angle to create a low-level light source.

FerriosUse Pro Acryl Magenta to create a bottom/up light source color. This creates a spectrum of color in a pinkish glow effect. Pro Acryl Dark Blue is painted at a top/down downward angle to create multiple light sources reflecting off his armor. This creates a cyberpunk style.

FerriosPro Acryl Paints Blue will highlight the areas painted Dark Blue to pick out detail work. A sponge with black metal paint creates some paint chipping effect on our model. This reinforces the cyberpunk effect by resembling a high tech but also a lived-in future.
