Are Citadel’s 2018 hobby project and paint boxes worth your hobby dollars? Take a look if they deserve a spot on your holiday wish-list!

Games Workshop is trying to help bring hobby back and provide a specialized way to take your Citadel tools and paints with you on the go. We are going to give you the rundown on these new hobby products and let you decide if these new paint and project boxes are for you.

First, out of the gate, we get a look at the new Citadel Paint Rack. Each rack is designed to hold 21 of your Citadel paint pots and comes with two racks and four legs that can be set up in a number of different ways, depending on what configuration your hobby area calls for.

These racks also have holes that are designed to be screwed to a wall or hobby desk.

Up next we have the Citadel Paint Box. This box retails for $50 US and comes with the Paint rack set above that lock securely into the hard shell case via the V-shaped rails down the site. This box has extra storage space below for your wash pots and it also appears that if you own the Citadel Battle Figure Case that this box will fit inside it so you can take your paints and model projects on the go.

Last but not least, we get a look at the new Citadel Project Box for 2018. This kit comes with three of the Citadel Paint racks with kickstands, two trays for holding your hobby tools and a ton of storage below for even more of your Citadel Paints and washes.

In our unboxing video below Rob goes over this new system and see just how it compares to the old Citadel Project box in both dimensions and usage.

We are glad to see Citadel and Games Workshop are doing their part to help bring hobby back this holiday season. As always keep those hobby muscles strong, stay in the trenches and check out our unboxing video below for a more in-depth review.
