The big guns never tire. Rob unboxes and builds the (really big) Victoria Miniatures Sledgehammer BFG tank and gives you his thoughts on the design.
Victoria Miniatures has been making great alternative models for a while now, but for the first time, they are going to explore some larger-scale artillery pieces! Rob is taking a look at this for the purpose of a cheaper alternative to perhaps even some Forge World models. Let’s see what his impressions are!

After he gets it out of the box and assembled, we can see some base options. There are two types of platforms on the side and a sort of loading crane on the back. The scale of this model is also huge! Heck, the base is the same size as a Knight titan (170mm oval) and the barrel had problems even fitting in the frame of the video! There are also two extra options that Rob picked up so let’s check those out too.
The first extra option he chose was a blast plate. It’s pretty straight forward and just attaches near the base of the barrel on the sides. It definitely gives it more character and flair if that’s what you are looking for.
The second optional part Rob checked out was an alternative main gun. This is called the Howling Wolf and offers a more stubby approach to the gigantic gun. The blast plate from before still works here so you could use both if you wanted!
After checking out all the options if we compare it to the Forge World Earthshaker (that is strikingly similar), we can tell that they are very close in size. The Victoria gun maybe just slightly bigger but if they were next to each other they would fit right in on the tabletop!
