Warhammer Fest is coming up at the end of month and today Games Workshop gave us sneak peek of some more of the dioramas we’ll be seeing at the event!
Warhammer World just revealed some sneak peeks of three more dioramas that will be on display at Warhammer Fest in July. Let’s take a look and see what they had to say.
The Warhammer World Design Studio are busy on new dioramas you’ll be able to see for the first time at Warhammer Fest in Coventry at the end of the month, and we’ve snuck in to take some photos for you!
The latest Warhammer: Age of Sigmar diorama has already been hinted at in a previous blog (have a look here) and now only a few final touches are needed to complete it. After being shown at Warhammer Fest, you’ll be able to see it at Warhammer World from July 15th.
As well as finished dioramas, the team will have part of a work in progress project with them, so you can see the stages involved in building a large diorama, and ask the Warhammer World Design Studio folks about how they do what they do. This is only one section of a larger board!
Finally, they’ve almost finished a brand new Warhammer 40,000 diorama, and are securing the last miniatures to it before it’s carefully packed up for transportation.
You’ll be able to see five dioramas in the Warhammer World Design Studio area at Warhammer Fest, with these three plus two already shared over on the Warhammer Community blog (have a look at them here)
From the little we can see here, these new dioramas are looking really impressive. They’ve incorporated the new Kharadron Overlords in one, and all the new Sector Mechanicus terrain in the other. It’s nice to see all the new products already being used to make works of art, telling stories of the games we love. Let’s not forget about the Titan Dock diorama that will also be on display at Warhammer Fest.
The back corners of the Titan Dock are made of Sector Mechanicus Ferratonic Furnaces from Armageddon. We also see a Baneblade kit with more of the Armageddon terrain on it, specifically the tops of the Sector Mechanicus Galvanic Magnavent, and some Voidshield Generator bits on either side of the tank. This is a stunning diorama and we can’t wait to see the finished product.
They looked to all be flanked by GW’s existing building terrain kits, as the designers make their way to the font of the display build wise.
