Images from Fracture of Biel-Tan are starting to pop up all over the place, let’s take a look at the new Aeldari unit list and formations that were just revealed.

First and foremost, the new Unit List.
Now let’s jump in and see these new Formations.
This Formation consists of 2 units of Dire Avengers, 1 unit of Incubi, and 1 unit of Wyches. They carry 3 special rules with them. Chosen Warriors gives this formation a +1 to the WS and BS whenever they are joined by the Visarch and/or Yvraine. The Vigour of old gives a unit the Furious Charge special rule while they are withing 7″ of another unit from this Formation, keep those groups tight. First of the Reborn allows the units from this Formation to make a Soulburst action within 14″ of a destroyed unit instead of the standard 7″.
For this Formation you’re going to need a Farseer, Shadowseer, Spiritseer, 2 Wraithlords, and any 3 units of Wraithgurds or Wraithblades. You’re getting the Fear special rule, as well as Reborn Souls, and Spirit Whispers. Reborn Souls allows the non-character models in this Formation to re-roll To Hit rols of 1 targeted at enemy units within 12″ of a character from this Formation. Spirit Whispers causes enemy units locked in combat with any unit from this Formation to suffer a -2 penalty to their Leadership when taking Fear tests.
A Warlock, 1 unit of Wind Riders, Reapers, and Skyweavers make up this Formation. Acolytes of Ynnead special rule lets you set aside a dice whenever a unit from this formation destroys an enemy unit, or is itself destroyed, and it remains there until your next Psychic phase. During the next Psychic phase the Warlock Conclave generates and additional Warp Charge point for each dice that was set aside. The Net is Cast forces every unit in this Formation to start off in Reserve. When they finally arrive to the table they must move on from a different table edge, including your opponents, letting you fully surround your enemy, not a bad deal at all. The only restriction to this Formation is that the Warlocks of the Warlock Conclave must all be upgraded to Warlock Skyrunners.
For this Formation you’re going to need 2 units of Wyches, 2 units of Storm Guardians or Black Guardians, and 2 Troupes. If any 2 of these units are locked in combat with the same enemy unit they gain the Hatred special rule until the end of the phase. If three or more units are locked in combat with the same enemy unit at the start of the Fight sub-phase, they also gain the Preferred Enemy special rule until the end of the phase. United in Death is a really nice little benefit to this Formation. It allows you to declare the whole Formation is United in death, doing so will apply the Soulburst action you choose to all units from this Formation. You can only use this ability once per turn, and only if no unit from this formation has already made a Soulburst action that turn.
Gathering Storm: Fracture of Biel-Tan $50
Description
Though they long ago learned how to stave off the vile attention of She Who Thirsts – known as Slaanesh in the tongues of men – the Time of Ending yet tightens its grip on the Eldar. No matter the methods they use to escape the notice of the god who haunts them, the Eldar sacrifice much in the process.
Some Eldar refuse to abandon the glorious dream of building their ancient empire anew – or at least burning brightly before the end. Eldrad Ulthran, High Farseer of Craftworld Ulthwé, puts into place a plan to bring forth Ynnead, the slumbering God of the Dead. A daemonic host assaults Biel-Tan, corrupting its infinity circuit. Unlikely alliances are formed in the face of desperation. And the Gathering Storm darkens over the entire galaxy…
