3rd Place: Craig Parker – Tyranids
2nd Place: Miles Engrav – Grey Knights
1st Place: Ben Cherwien – Chaos Space Marines
Cypher led Ben’s list for a good skirmisher who happens to nerf your opponent’s stratagems, three Dark Commune for cheap bodies and leaders for some Cultist units down the list, and lastly, Lucius for a great melee leader who can be hard to finish off in the right conditions.
Basic troops start with Cultists for some cheap bodies to help wound soak and cap objectives.
Those are followed by five units of Noise marines, which have surprisingly good special weapons for a basic Space Marine unit.
There were three Rhinos for some cheap transportation options that excel in the early turns of the game.
Three units of Acursed Cultists bring some more cheap bodies, this time with the purpose of being led by the Dark Communes to squeeze out extra value. Two Predator Destructors bring in the primary source of ranged anti-armor fire to close out the list!
