The Blood Angels are back, and they’re here to prove that style and savagery aren’t mutually exclusive. The Sanguinary Spearhead Combat Patrol just landed, and it’s everything you’d expect from the sons of Sanguinius: golden armor, furious melee, and a touch of that tragic flair that’s been breaking hearts and cracking skulls since M31.

New Blood Angels Combat Patrol: Sanguinary Spearhead Revealed!

Blood angels Combat Patrol 4Games Workshop has just dropped the curtain on the latest Blood Angels Combat Patrol, and it’s everything one of the sons of Sanguinius could hope for – packed with savage fury, glorious golden armor, and that unmistakable flair that only the Blood Angels can pull off. If you’re looking to dive into the world of Baal’s chosen or simply want to bolster your existing force with some iconic units, the Sanguinary Spearhead has you covered.

Blood Angels Captain: The Beating Heart of the Spearhead

Leading this newly unveiled force is the Blood Angels Captain, resplendent in his finely detailed artificer armor. As soon as you see this model, it’s clear that he’s more than just another power-armored commander. Games Workshop has leaned into the artistic nature of the Blood Angels, crafting armor that combines sculpted musculature with intricate details that scream “I’m here to lead – and to make it look good.”

For longtime hobbyists, this reveal taps into the rich lore of Blood Angels Captains who walk the tightrope between grace and rage. On the battlefield, this Captain is as much a symbol of the Blood Angels’ noble heritage as he is a tactical powerhouse. With the new rules accompanying this set, he’ll make your Assault Intercessors even deadlier, guiding them in the charge with a commanding presence. But let’s not kid ourselves – the real appeal here is the model itself, which is primed to be the centerpiece of any collection.

Assault Intercessors: Chainsword Maniacs at the Ready

Blood angels Combat Patrol 5No Blood Angels reveal would be complete without a nod to the Chapter’s love for getting up close and personal, and that’s exactly what you get with the ten Assault Intercessors included in this box. These troops are the embodiment of everything we’ve come to expect from the Blood Angels – speed, ferocity, and a strong preference for tearing things apart in melee. Whether you’re new to the faction or have been around since the days of Rogue Trader, this squad is a throwback to what made the Blood Angels iconic in the first place: controlled brutality with just a hint of artistic flair.

For those who follow the lore, these Intercessors are more than just line infantry – they represent the eternal struggle within every Blood Angel. They’re warriors who channel the Red Thirst and Black Rage into focused rage, turning inner demons into a weapon on the battlefield. And with the newly revealed stratagems and rules, these Intercessors are primed to rip and tear their way through any opponent foolish enough to stand in their path.

Sanguinary Guard: Angels of Death Descend

Blood angels Combat Patrol 6Ah, the Sanguinary Guard – no Blood Angels release would be complete without them, and this reveal delivers. Clad in their signature golden armor and soaring on roaring jump packs, these warriors are a highlight of the set. As guardians of the Chapter’s most honored traditions, they’re more than just elite troops; they’re the embodiment of Sanguinius’ legacy. The new rules focus on enhancing their already brutal close-combat prowess, making them a nightmare for your opponents while staying true to their mythic status.

In the lore, these warriors are handpicked to protect the Blood Angels’ most sacred relics and fight in the name of their Primarch. On the table, they’re the perfect hammer to follow your Captain and Assault Intercessors, smashing into enemy lines with a mix of elegance and pure violence.

New Rules and Enhancements: All About the Charge

New CP RulesThe newly revealed rules for this Combat Patrol emphasize what Blood Angels do best: getting into combat fast and hitting hard. The Red Thirst returns, offering that extra burst of savagery just when you need it most.

New CP Rules 2And with the durability of Space Marines combined with the unique Blood Angels enhancements, this set isn’t just about offense – it’s built to take a punch and keep moving forward.
