Dark Commune UnboxingThese are the boxes we’ll be taking a look at today and run for $45 and $50.

Instructions

Dark Commune Unboxing 2There are some small parts, but nothing seems to be very complicated at all, which is good. You definitely want to use the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement with the cloaks to help get rid of gapping.

Dark Commune Unboxing 3There are a few options for the Cultists to give the champion some extra posing, but for the rest, they are pretty much just a single build. However, you can change the heads up which is nice.

Overall, they look super easy to build.

Sprues

Dark Commune Unboxing 4The Dark Commune actually just comes with the one sprue, but there is a lot of detail, just not a lot to it overall.

Dark Commune Unboxing 5The design of the cultists looks great but again, not much variety here. However, they are basically push-fit and super easy to build.

Assembled Minis

Dark Commune Unboxing 7They actually look really awesome when all built up! There is just so much detail, and they are super dynamic.

Dark Commune Unboxing 10Even though there aren’t many posing options, all the minis looked great.

Dark Commune Unboxing 12

Dark Commune Unboxing 13While the Cultists don’t have a ton of options, they look great! It takes longer to clean them up and clip them off the sprues than it does to put them together.

Dark Commune Unboxing 15Overall, they are super cool minis that will look great on the tabletop.

Size Comparisons

Dark Commune Unboxing 11The Dark Commune models are actually quite large and pretty close to the size of a Primaris.
