Is it Worth It?

In short, yes! The box contains a great collection of units, which really gives you a good start on collecting the army. Almost every army will have at least one unit of Warriors, a Raider, and a Ravager, and this has all three. Then, the Incubi can be led by the Archon and pack a great punch in combat.

The value is also right around $100, which is pretty impressive, especially when compared to the newer boxes. If you want to play Drukhari, we would definitely try to pick one of these up.

How Many Points is it?

So, you’re wondering how many points the Drukhari Combat Patrol box racks up, eh? Well, in Warhammer 40k 10th edition, this box hits with about 450 points. But, as you know, the tides of the Grimdark universe are ever-shifting, and with the latest points updates, that number could quickly fluctuate.

One minute, you’re ready to capture victims, and the next, you’re recalculating your list because the points gods have decided to have some fun.

Kabalite Warriors

Kabalite Warriors box

The Kabalite Warriors are the lifeblood of every Drukhari strike force, known for being the most ruthless and power-hungry of their kind. These Kabalite Warriors are merciless combatants with a penchant for inflicting pain, and they march into battle under the command of Sybarites, who are absolute masters of warfare.

Raider

dark eldar raiders hor walRaiders are the Drukhari’s go-to rides. These bladed skycraft are lightweight, super nimble, and wicked fast. They slice through enemies with razor-sharp fins and jagged keels, while their front-mounted heavy weapons deliver a serious smackdown.

Ravager

ravagersThe Ravager gunship is lightning-fast and packs a punch with its trio of powerful heavy weapons. It delivers armored fire support for the Drukhari, taking on the toughest enemy targets. This bad boy is so quick and agile that it can ambush an enemy tank, obliterate it in one deadly swoop, and vanish before the enemy even knows what hit it.

Archon

Archons are the top dogs of the Drukhari Kabals, blending regal swagger with monstrous might. These guys can enslave worlds and obliterate civilizations without breaking a sweat. Having fed on countless others’ pain, it takes epic levels of atrocity to get them going, which is why they’re always leading more raids into realspace.

New Drukhari Combat Patrol Rules

As you’d expect from a Combat Patrol built for close combat mayhem, the Blades of Torment comes loaded with rules to help you blitz across the battlefield. The Dark Eldar may be all about zipping around, but they’re still Drukhari at heart, rocking the same Power From Pain army rule as before. What sets them apart this time are new Enhancements, secondary objectives, and Stratagems that sharpen their melee game even more. You can get all the new Drukhari Combat Patrol rules right here.

Shudderworm Bottle Rule

Drukhari Combat Patrol Rules

Inside this eerie inkglass flask squirms a neuroparasite snatched from the webway, hooked up to one of the twisted creations of the Haemonculi Covens. This tortured little worm soaks up the psychic agony of the battlefield, only to spew it back out in waves of concentrated misery—which, for the nearby Drukhari, is oddly refreshing.

Effect? While the bearer leads a unit, every model in that unit gains the Feel No Pain 5+ ability. Misery has its perks!

Stratagem

Drukhari Combat Patrol Rules 2

The lightning-fast reflexes of the Drukhari let them dodge and weave around enemy attacks like it’s second nature, evading all but the quickest strikes. Until the end of the phase, every time your unit is targeted, the enemy has to subtract one from their Hit rolls. Slippery as ever!

What to Buy Next?

Well, this gives you a decent start, but we would pick up a couple of venoms (at least one for the Archon and Incubi), some Scourges for long-range fire support, and another couple of units of Warriors with accompanying raiders.

Once you do that, you’ll have a solid core of troops; then, you can start adding in the fun units. The Wych Cult has a ton of fast attacking units that can grab objectives, are decent in combat, and look amazing. If you want to go for a more solid (not better, as in more substantial) army, you can start adding Coven units for more toughness and some new ways to generate more pain tokens.

There is also something to be said about just buying the minis you think are cool and building an army around them! Don’t forget to grab the new rules for this faction and brush up on how to play them. We’ve got you covered in this article!

While it may have the highest value, The Drukhari Combat Patrol still offers a great way for new players to start building their armies and explore the faction.
