Also, rob covers all the releases in the Eldritch Omens box for Eldar as well. If you want to see how to build all of them, check out our article on that here

We are going to show you everything including the sprues, bits, and of course, the size. That way you can decide if these are worth your hard-earned hobby dollars.

Shining Spears unboxing 2Today we’ll be focusing on the new bikes, they go for $60 from GW which has been pretty standard when it comes to bikes.

Instructions & Sprues

Shining Spears unboxing 3These are basically the same chassis as the Shroudrunners but the fronts are different and obviously the riders are as well. The nice thing here is you can choose to build the Exarch but you don’t have to. That way if you want to do one beefy squad, you can. However, you have to choose which back piece you want, and they are really hard to do any type of switch-outs with.

Shining Spears unboxing 5It looks like we’ll have some of the same problems we did with the previous bikes, and this little bit here is hard to use, so be very careful when cutting this out as you will need it to glue everything in.

Shining Spears unboxing 7The first sprue has the majority of the bits for the riders themselves, whereas the second one has much more for the bike.s There are lots of head options and nothing too crazy overall.

Built Minis

Shining Spears unboxing 8Overall, these were pretty clean to build and look pretty cool. For these Rob used a quick set glue but recommends the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement to make it easier.

Shining Spears unboxing 9One annoying thing is you have to lock the rider on when building the bike, this will probably make painting it a little bit of a pain. Other than where the flight stand goes in (just make sure it’s really tight to stop gapping) and the riders not coming off, it’s a pretty easy build.
