40k Kill Team Gets FAQed Ahead of Rulebook Re-release!

With a new book on the way GW updates their Kill Team rules. Check out the new errata changing quite a few rules for different Kill Teams.

Kill Team has steadily gotten support since its release. From Kill Team bundles to starter boxes and unit broadening, there are plenty of things keeping the game fresh. Warhammer community also just announced an errata that hit the game.

We’ll be going over some of the highlights but make sure you check out the latest for yourself as well!

Up and At ’em Tactic

The Up an At ’em tactic was slightly changed to say that the combat specialist gets to fight before any other player chooses a model to fight.

For the Fortis Kill Team, the wording was changed a bit just to clarify on the special ammunition/points values of their weapons if you add a Primaris Intercessor or Reiver to your roster.

For Leaders or Officers in your Kill Team, you can immediately issue an order after they have already made one order.

Since Battlesuits were added into the Kill Team roster in the Elites expansion, Drones can intercept wounds for them and take a mortal wound in return.

For metabolic Overdrive, you now run the risk of taking a mortal wound on a 1 after rolling a D6 before you move.

kill team faq 6Finally, the mining laser had its profile changed to D6 shots. That’s pretty huge considering all of the -1 to hit modifiers that are seeded into the game.
