Don’t miss this expendable group of 32mm 1980’s action hero models, as we take a look at the Hardcore Miniatures Jungle Fighters for use with Warhammer 40k!
Today Rob’s taking a look at the five Hardcore Miniatures Jungle Fighter Models. Each of them has unique characteristics and faces you will recognize! They will fit directly into any Catachan or Imperial Guard army force you throw them into, and look great!
Action Hero Miniatures for Warhammer 40k: Hardcore Minis
Right out of the shipping package, Rob has got all the bits laid out. We can clearly see the design is inspired by jungle/Catachan warriors. They are also pretty chunky, with a little bit of beef and muscles, so they may end up a little bulky than usual guardsmen, but not their characters.
The first assembled model is the Wolf. Sporting a bandoleer and his rifle he is ready to take aim and fire downrange!
After Wolf, we’ve got Lance. His rifle is a scoped variant and he is taking aim on some baddies on the other end about to give it to ’em!
This Rambo-esque model is called The Pig. This pork chop isn’t backing down, in fact, he is pushing up laying down suppressive fire! This is also one of the few times we can see a model holding the spare chain out like that preparing to shoot the massive amount of bullets.
The fourth model is Bill. Bill is similar to Wolf, but just a tad more relaxed. He won’t aim and doesn’t need to! Maybe he’s preparing to lay down suppressive fire like the Pig. The story you create with these models is up to you!
Lastly is a familiar face called Mr.Mohawk. None other than the likeness of Mr.T is invading tabletop! His flamethrower is definitely one of my favorites as it’s packed with detail like the small valve near his hip. Who better to burn Xenos than Mr.T, sucka!?
When we check out the size comparison, the models are pretty close to the right size. If anything they are just slightly more muscular but otherwise they are right at home with guardsmen.
