Adepticon 2019’s Top 40k Army Displays

Imperial Guard in the shape of squats were showcased on this board. Every single model had some kind of conversion to fit the “squatty” theme. Check out the double-decker board with LEDs and fog machine! Great showing by Pop Goes the Monkey.

Tau with a Deadpool-themed paint job defended a frozen planet from a Tyranid invasion. With sound and lighting effects at the event, it’s no surprise that this made it to the top! By the Wobbly Modelers.

The Orks rolled onto the top table with this tracked behemoth. It’s so big it makes the Morkanaut look small!

Moving onto this board, the hobby maniacs recreated the fall of Damnos. Ultramarines landed onto the planet only to be greeted with Gauss. By team Regum Auratis (now with 27% more shirts).

The Eldar were seen standing in formation on their Wraithbone platform awaiting their assault. Check out how many bikes there are!

In a Mad Max post-apocalyptic display, the Orks were spotted at their arena battle walker against Walker. The LEDs and neon paint really make everything pop!

The main mode of transportation for Orks between planets is an Attack Moon. It’s a hollowed out asteroid teaming with Orks that are waiting to crash into a planet full of things to Krump. This is a dissected view of your typical Attack Moon by the Chicago Kamikazes.

The Tau’s last hope at defeating this Nurgle Titan was to call in some serious air support. They’re holding the line with everything they’ve got in front of an icy backdrop.

adepticon hall 10

Tyranids, Genesteealer Cults, and Orks were spotted fighting for the same cause on this board. It looks like a classic Cult insurrection taking place! The armies are spewing out of the pits of a mine to take over the rest of the planet.

The Guard atop the cliff are holding strong against the imminent Khorne Daemon invasion. The Bloodletters are scaling the walls to get to them.

Finally, we have the Orks and this city-sized Walker! This thing could kick over a Titan like it was nothing. Good luck trying with your Castellan to bring this thing down.
