Alfabusa Takes Emperor’s TTS to a World of Darkness

By Travis Pasch | May 25th, 2022 | Categories: Videos, Warhammer 40k, Warhammer 40k Rumors

TTS FeatureAfter moving away from Games Workshop IP, Alfabusa is back and taking Emperor’s TTS to a World of Darkness with Hunter: The Parenting.

A few months ago, it looked like they were calling it quits for all the 40k content, but luckily, they found a new realm to take the show to! The characters are a little different, but if you have watched the show before, you’ll know right away what’s going on!

The cool thing is the World of Darkness is the setting for RPGs like Vampire the Masquerade and Werewolf the Apocalypse, which you can check out here!

For those not in the know about why they stopped in the first place, we’ll recap quickly for you about the IP issues, but this is more about checking out the new animation that’s a fun mix between Scooby-Doo and TTS!

What Happened With TTS & Games Workshop

TTS Episode feature rAfter hearing about the zero-tolerance policy, TTS decided to call it quits because they didn’t want to deal with the legal ramifications. They did, however, put out two more videos (of three) and that is sorta how the last arc was going to conclude anyways.

They did say this isn’t the end per se, and they were looking to pivot the channel’s composition, just away from Warhammer. Hence, the new series we’re looking at today! Because of the massive support of Patreon, they continued with the content. Even if you don’t support there, they will be posting what’s being worked on for free.

TTS EpisodeSo first up, they put this new disclaimer on the video. Which in itself is a parody and pretty funny in a way.

In the last episode, they put up a cliffhanger that was supposed to end in another episode, but they did add a little resolution to the whole thing in the comments; check out their statement below:

This wasn’t, and isn’t, supposed to be the end. Just as a spoiler for what was supposed to come next so I don’t leave anyone suffering for however long; The third part will not be released despite it honestly being quite close to finished. It was meant to be released about a month after the release of this part but my son was born so I kind of had to take a break… But with the situation now, other than needing to focus on starting up new projects and the lack of motivation, it also, in a horrible way, felt kind of apt to end it here. Sorry.

If you want to read the full statement, check out the video here. We weren’t sure at first what direction they were going to go, but we like what they came up with now!

Alfabusa Takes Emperor’s TTS to a World of Darkness In Hunter: The Parenting

The show now is all about Big D and his four sons adventuring through the scary realms of Norfolk and is called Hunter: the Parenting. It is just really fun, still has plenty of hints to 40k, and with the Scooby-Doo style, it’s just a great watch.

TTSThe animation is a little revamped but still has that same great feel! This time around, the boys are traveling by bus, and there’s plenty of ridiculousness inside.

TTS 2Honestly, the boys look awesome, and seeing them continue the journey, even in a different world setting is pretty awesome. Plus, we don’t see World of Darkness being upset someone is bringing new people and awareness to their brands.

TTS 3In this episode, they battle the great wizard Kevin! As you can see, they go through some serious turmoil, and the gritty style is still there in all its glory!

Are you excited about the return of the show? Do you like the setting they chose?
