3rd Place: Malaki Fowler – Thousand Sons
Salt City GT 2024 2nd Place 40k Army Lists: Casey Glynn – Blood Angels
1st Place: Brad Chester – Blood Angels
Two Chaplains with jump packs are there to keep up with the other jump pack units while also hitting pretty hard themselves, while Lemartes can join a Death Company unit. A Lieutenant helped with re-rolls, while the Sanguinary Priest can lead a future Veteran squad.
Three units of Death Company and Assault Marines, all with jump packs, are there for some fast and dangerous melee threats.
Three units of Scouts bring some utility to cheap bodies by holding a lone objective and shaving off some points for the rest of the list.
Then the list ends with a Vanguard Veteran Squad for the last threat in the list, thanks to their shields for a huge boost to durability.
There you have it: the top Warhammer 40k army lists from the Salt City GT were ruled by Blood Angels and Thousand Sons. Brad’s Blood Angel army came out on top thanks to its focus on fast mobile threats that love melee combat while still retaining a decent level of durability.
