ATC is teaming up with Away Games to bring a new tournament circuit to a town near you, culminating in a championship weekend!
If you love the American Team Championship (ATC), this is going to be a great way to get in more team games and play in more events.
Each event will use the same terrain and rules as the normal ATC event, so a great way to practice and even a chance to win a free entry to the 2024 championship. While they didn’t give exact tournament dates quite yet (for the qualifying events), they said they are coming in the next few weeks!
ATC Announcement: Warhammer Team Events Coming to You
Breaking news! The ATC Warhammer American Team Championship has teamed up with Away Games in collaboration with The Green Dragon Gaming Shop to create an ATC Circuit!!
This yearly circuit will be a series of 5-man team events, 32 teams, 2-days, 5 rounds and will have the same rules and terrain from ATC with the event winning team receiving a ticket to ATC 2024.
In addition to winning a ticket to ATC, Awards and Hobby Score will be tracked for the circuit, concluding with awarding overall circuit winners and main event winners at the ATC Main Event. (The more circuit events your team attends, the more chances to win the circuit championships!)
We will host events leading up to ATC taking place 12-14 July 2024 and are working with local teams in the regions to host these events.
Events and dates will be released in the coming weeks with sign ups along with key sponsors for the events!
This is just really fantastic news, as ATC is one of the most fun events of the year, and now you get more chances to play! There will be more awards, your hobby score will be tracked, and you can even win a ticket to the main event!
They mentioned they are currently looking at MO, FL, and NC for events. That doesn’t mean they won’t go to other places, possibly, but if you live near any of those states, keep your eyes peeled!
The ATCs also mentioned they are trying to get AoS set up at the events, so there’s a chance it won’t be just 40k. Either way, this should be a great way to get more team events for Warhammer overall!
