Check out the pricing and release info for the new Warhammer Quest Blackstone Fortress that will be going on pre-order this Saturday!

Multiple retailers have confirmed that Blackstone Fortress is indeed Saturday’s pre-order, with some stores expecting a preview copy this week.

Potentially on deck for preorder as early as this weekend, is the next round of Made To Order releases for Age of Sigmar as well:

Beasts of Legend

As well as looking into the future, we’ve got an early look at some classic models that’ll be (briefly) returning this November thanks to Made to Order. To celebrate the rebirth of the Beasts of Chaos, we’ll be making some legendary models available once more – including some incredibly rare choices like the Wargor Standard Bearer (never before available separately) and oft-requested fan-favourites like Pestigors, and Gorthor.

Let’s take a look at the full Blackstone Fortress game and its contents:

Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress is an adventure game that puts you in the heart of an unfolding mystery in the 41st Millennium. Working with your friends, you’ll use your wits to battle right to the heart of an ancient citadel, pursuing hidden agendas and attempting to discover its secrets. Using an innovative system of procedural generation, no two adventures will be the same, with new layouts, enemies and more in every play through.

The game is set on the adventure of Janus Draik and his companions into the (you guessed it) Blackstone Fortress. The twist is that they aren’t the only ones in there and the creatures lurking the corridors know that Janus and his men are inside.

The game is coming jam-packed with brand new minis that are going to be completely playable on the 40k tabletop.

Now let’s take a look at the 44 sweet new minis:

janus party

  • UR-025
  • Eldar Ranger model
  • Kroot
  • Ministorum Priest
  • Missionary Zealot
  • Ratlings
  • Janus(?)
  • Imperial Navigator

chaos party

  • Renegade Guardsmen
  • Ur Ghul
  • Sorcerer models
  • Negavolt Cultists
  • Chaos Lord
  • Chaos Marines
  • Beastmen

The models might be incentive enough for you to want the box, but the game itself doesn’t sound half bad either!

You can pre-order your copy of Blackstone Fortress Saturday November 10th and GW is expanding their pre-order time by a week. Look for Blackstone Fortress to hit shelves on Black(stone) Friday the 23rd of November for $150 US.
