Is the Chaos Daemons Combat Patrol Worth It?
GW has pretty much got these boxes down to a science of how much to include and what types of units to include. This gets you a decent starter force with a little bit of everything for Khorne.
So, if you do need the units inside, this is probably worth the pickup, as it has great value and, in our opinion, a good mix of units.
How Many Points is the Chaos Daemons Combat Patrol Box?
So, you’re wondering how many points the Chaos Daemons Combat Patrol box racks up, eh? Well, in Warhammer 40k 10th edition, this box hits with about 550 points. But, as you know, the tides of the Grimdark universe are ever-shifting, and with the latest points updates, that number could quickly fluctuate.
One minute, you’re ready to collect skulls, and the next, you’re recalculating your list because the points gods have decided to have some fun.

Bloodletters
Bloodletters make up the backbone of the Lord of Battle’s massive legions. Thought to be Khorne’s top followers in their mortal days, their relentless and bloodthirsty nature matches the Blood God’s own.
Decked out with rippling muscles and taut sinews, these guys are driven by an unmatched killer instinct, making them seriously fearsome foes.
Flesh Hounds
Fast, fierce, and stubborn beyond belief, Flesh Hounds relentlessly hunt down their prey without a shred of mercy. Anyone trying to outsmart or defeat these demonic beasts with magic will find their powers snuffed out by the fury of Khorne.
Bloodcrushers
The Bloodcrushers of Khorne are the heavy cavalry of the Chaos Realm, with deadly Bloodletters riding massive Juggernauts into battle. These beasts, made of brazen brass and rippling muscle, are tough and unbelievably strong, capable of smashing through any battleline with their earth-shattering charge.
Bloodmaster
With every swing of the Bloodmaster’s blade, throats are slashed and torsos split, while the most deserving foes lose their heads entirely. The Bloodletters of Khorne, driven into a frenzy by his murderous presence, fight even harder in his deadly aura.
New Chaos Daemons Combat Patrol Rules
As you’d expect from a Combat Patrol built for close combat mayhem, the Butchers of Hyporia comes loaded with rules to help you blitz across the battlefield. The Bloodletters may be all about close quarters, but they’re still Chaos Daemons at heart, rocking the same Shadow of Moment army rule as before.
What sets them apart this time are new Enhancements, secondary objectives, and Stratagems that sharpen their melee game even more. You can get all the new Chaos Daemons Combat Patrol rules right here.
Incarnated Rage Enhancement
This daemon is the embodiment of pure rage and hatred, a living furnace of psychotic fury fueled by the bloodlust of a million murderers. Its presence radiates a violent desire for blood and skulls, infecting everything around it.
Effect? While this daemon leads a unit, all melee weapons wielded by that unit gain the [LETHAL HITS] ability. Get ready for some seriously deadly strikes!
Stratagem
Even when being banished back to the warp, these daemons aren’t going quietly—they’ll stab and slash, trying to drag a few more souls down with them.
Until the end of the phase, whenever a model in your unit is destroyed and hasn’t fought yet, roll a D6. On a 4+, that model stays in the fight just long enough to strike back before being removed from play. They’re going down swinging!
What to Buy Next?
Well, with this force, you’re well on your way to making a great Khorne army. We would pick up a Bloodthirster to really pack the punch and smash through the enemy.
Then, you can’t go wrong with a daemon prince to add some more punch. Lastly, we would get some more Bloodcrushers and maybe a Skulltaker to really increase your combat efficiency.
There is also something to be said about just buying the minis you think are cool and building an army around them! Don’t forget to grab the new rules for this faction and brush up on how to play them. We’ve got you covered in this article!
It has great value, and the Chaos Daemons Combat Patrol offers a great way for new players to start building their armies and explore the Daemons faction.
