Don’t look now but all but one can of Citadel spray paint primer are SOLD OUT on GW’s Webstore, and they may no longer be available online!
Yikes! Looks like GW might be having some issues meeting the demand for their spray primer. All but one is sold out online, so if you want any you may have to look elsewhere like Army Painter, Amazon, or your local game store.
Citadel Undercoat Spray Paint Primers Are SOLD OUT
Love ’em or hate ’em all the spray primers except the newest Runelord Brass are sold out online! It’s probably due to them having a small stockpile of it, as it is the newest release after all.
Maybe GW’s primer is outsourced and the company that provides if for GW to package is having issues right now. It also could just be GW themselves having problems meeting the demand for spray primer, assuming people around the world are hobbying while self-isolating and quarantining during the pandemic, there could be a much bigger demand than before…
Also, another item of note is that GW switched from using Fed-Ex for their shipments (one of the main benefits to being warehoused in Memphis, TN) in North America to UPS (whose hub isn’t even in Tennessee).
It is nice to be able to name match paints when working on large projects. Sometimes having to manually match colors with multiple brands is a pain in the neck.
