Come see a new close up of the cool Death Guard Tank that was spotted yesterday with a picture that really shows what this new units is all about!
The new tank(s) were just spotted in the Getting Started With Warhammer 40,000 preview from GW’s new pre-orders Saturday.
However the artwork for the two new tanks were spotted during the Death Guard preview at Adepticon earlier this year, but we haven’t heard or seen anything about them since.
Could this be the image of new tanks coming our way for the Death Guard? Maybe a two part kit no less for perhaps an APC and or a Plague Mortar weapon system of sorts?
I also love that front prow as well. No matter what it is, they look intimidating.
And before you dismiss this as purely coincidental… when was the last time you saw GW publish supplement artwork that didn’t contain real actual models. We can’t remember the last time ourselves….
We spotted those back in March, and now it’s no longer speculation. Two new Death Guard tanks are on the way, we’re just waiting for the official announcement from Games Workshop.
Let’s take a look at the new image that was spotted in this weeks pre-orders.
Do you see them? Or how about a shot of the new Primaris Repulsor Tank in action? This Primaris vs Death Guard Battle report is holding all sorts of eye candy.
We got a clear close up of the two new tanks yesterday thanks to BoLS.
The new close up was spotted on La Voz De Horus, and it’s showing us a different angle with a much closer look at the new tank.
There’s a couple things to note about the picture. First is that nice dozer looking front, ready to plow through its enemies. Then we have the guns… You have a gun on each side, similar to the Plaguespitters on the Floetid Bloat-Drone, the cannon on top, and a triple barrel gun coming out of the front of it. It looks like it’s going to have a good mix of short range weapons, while still being able to set up at a distance and fire away with the cannon.
So what do you think about the two new Death Guard tanks (as per the picture there may be two on the way)? We got our first view of them at via artwork at Adepticon, another look at them now, but still no announcement.
Was this all planned by Games Workshop to keep our interest and speculations going? We’ll ask the same question again: When was the last time you saw GW publish supplement artwork that didn’t contain real actual models?
