3rd Place: David Hall – Chaos Daemons
2nd Place: Justin Moore – Grey Knights
1st Place: Kit Smith Hanna – Dark Angels
Kit’s winning list was led by Azrael, who is a fantastic model in his own right but also gives his unit sustained hits! Three Techmarines give much needed vehicle support and hint at a pattern later in the list!
A unit of Assault Intercessor adds a standard set of close-range bodies. Those are then followed up with two units of the slightly more expensive Intercessors with Jump Packs, giving them some much-needed mobility to make some charges.
A Ravenwing Darkshroud is another mobile unit, except this one has a fantastic ability to give cover to nearby units.
Two Thunderstrike Speeders, Two Stormraven Gunships, and a Vindicator bring more mobility this time, with a huge emphasis on ranged firepower.
There you have it, the top Warhammer 40k army lists from the Alamao GT were ruled by Dark Angels, Grey Knights, and Daemons.
Kit’s Dark Angels army came out on top thanks to its huge focus on mobility. Bringing in strong, versatile units for close combat and ranged attacks crushed even the toughest rivals. Overall, these army lists offer some real gems for Warhammer 40k newbies and pros alike.
