The contents for Dark Imperium have been revealed already, and we’re seeing a lot of new Death Guard minis. But there’s a lot from the preview we don’t see.
Games Workshop revealed the new Death Guard starter army and it looks like it’s going to be a great set. But after looking at the models from the starter, and the models from the preview back at Adepticon, you noticing some things are missing.
First and foremost, let’s take a look at what is coming in the starter.
And in case you don’t remember the Death Guard preview, or missed it, here it is. See if you can’t spot the characters that are missing from the starter.
Did you get them all? If not, it’s fine, we have the characters already pulled out of the video for you.
And then this seemingly LARGER model with no frame of reference…
Games Workshop did say the next Primarch is going to have “be cowled”
With so many models missing from the starter that were teased during the preview, it’s a pretty safe bet that we will be seeing more Death Guard troops coming our way some time after the launch of the new starter.
If the “starter set” models are on their own separate sprues like Calth and Prospero, I think it would be a safe bet that GW plans on release them separately at some point as well in the near future.
This is great news for Chaos and Death Guard fans! It seems Games Workshop is doing a great job with the new 8th edition, and we look forward to seeing what else they have in store for us.
