Death in Desert Camo: Imperial Guard LVO Army Showcase

This army is brought to us by Austin Jones

death in desert camo 1In true Imperial Guard fashion, we’ve got bodies, brutes, and bombshells. Rolling out some Leman Russes, a Basilisk, a Knight and a TON of screens, these Guard hit the tabletop ready to lock down objectives and paralyze the enemy in a volley of firepower.

death in desert camo 4These Guardsmen, looking like a small sea of bodies, all had some sweet conversions done on their helmets. Now these Guardsman look like they’re cared after a bit more over what the normal Cadian wargear looks like. With a full-face visor and some blue tinting on the goggles, these guys have a more elite vibe.

death in desert camo 5Of course, there’s always a need for a little brute strength on the battlefield. And to make up where Guardsmen lack, some Bullgryn were thrown onto the frontlines to crack a few skulls.

death in desert camo 6Amazing job going through every last Guardsmen and pull ing off a true uniform look. From matching lasguns to helmets and even basing, no corners were cut. And anyone who’s gone this far with a single army before knows what kind of dedication that takes.

With these Guardsmen bringing glory to big E in some desert camo, will you be painting up a small force that looks similar to this one? Have you converted all your Guardsmen to look a little different? Have you made up your own Regiment’s lore?
