Rob is taking a look at these to see what all the fuss is about. Let’s see what his impressions are!

Scopions vicminDesert Scorpions 10 Model Squad: $49.99

With the Scorpions out of the box and all laid out, we can see what you would be getting into. Assembly is straight forward but allows you to add your own variations of posing.

details scorpions vicminThe detail on each of these is stunning. Each of the folds in the cloth and even the straps and buckles. You can clearly see every bit of detail as it should be!

Gun goes lastWith the first model assembled, this is essentially an assault weapon troop. Each of the different weapons just slots into the hands and any of the weapons will fit on this guy! With that freedom, there comes a little more work on the trimming side, but that’s hardly a sacrifice.

troop with las bayonet scorpionThe base troops have what could be Lasguns with bayonets! There are small gaps in between the arms and the torso here, but that is easily fixed with some putty or even just some creative gluing, gap-filling, or just heat.

scorpion sargLast up is the squad leader. Technically any troop could be the squad leader as you get to choose who gets the arms and heads. This guy is clearly shouting out orders to his men and even dropped his canteen in the heat of battle.

You can get them as a 5 man squad or as conversion kit parts as well over on Victoria miniatures site too, so there are tons of customizable options for your army!
