The tournament is over, and now we can look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought in their armies with our commentary on their selections.

3rd Place: Liam Callebout – Dark Angels
2nd Place: Jay Seebarun – Dark Angels
1st Place: Martyn Cooper – Astra Militarum
Gaunt’s Ghosts led Martyn’s winning list for a selection of solid models, while Leontus brings an insanely strong redeploy ability for the list at the start of the game.
The rest of the HQs was a Command Squad for good weapons and orders, a Tank Commander brought some heavy shots, and Ursula lended her great double order ability to a unit she leads.
Troops start off with four units of Catachan fighters for some cheap bodies that are solid enough for their price tag.
There are some Death Korps for slight variation while still being a great cheap set of models. Other sheets then start with a Basilisk for an armored model with good ranged weapons and three Bullgryns for some durability in close combat.
Kasrkins are the last infantry-style model offering a more elite unit with solid weapons. They are followed by three Medusa’s for more ranged weaponry on vehicles to help pump out shots.
The final Guard model is a Rogal Dorn tank for a more dedicated, durable ranged threat to help take out large enemy threats and hopefully take a few shows without going down. Lastly is an Assassin to round out points, offer a specialized model to target characters, and possible re-deploy each turn.
