Don’t Miss FLG’s Cherokee Open This Weekend!

Cherokee Open feature rThe 2022 FLG Cherokee Open is happening this weekend, and includes a bunch of games including Warhammer 40k, AoS, and Star Wars Legion!

Frontline Gaming always puts on a good show and this one is going to be close to the Spikey Bits headquarters (well, within driving distance… not really close). Anyway, they will be running a Warhammer 40k tournament, a 40k doubles tournament, an AoS tournament, and a Star Wars Legion tournament.

The event will be running from February  25-27th, 2022. So plenty of fun to be had, plus the casino it’s being held at looks pretty awesome.

Let’s check out some of the tournament highlights. Currently, some of the events are sold out, but email in to see if any spots may be available on event day if you plan on making the trip still!

Frontline Gaming Cherokee Open 2022 This Weekend

Cherokee OpenWell, before we get into the tournaments you’ll want to know where the games are being held at! It looks pretty majestic all tucked back in the mountains.

If you want to get in on your room before they sell out, you can get your room here! Just be sure to edit the dates as they start out for the Tuesday-Wednesday when you first get to the room site.

Warhammer 40,000 Championships: $100

Closely following the 2022 LVO, the 40K Champs at the Cherokee Open will be one of the largest events to kick off the new ITC season! This full scale Frontline Gaming 40K Champs tournament will be professionally run by the FLG Staff Judges and feature the gorgeous FLG ITC terrain that is used at the other FLG Super Major events.

This inaugural Frontline Gaming Cherokee Open is one you do not want to miss out on! Located in the beautiful  Smoky Mountains on the Cherokee Reservation, this event is designed to be the perfect weekend getaway!  When you are not rolling dice, you and your buddies can relax and enjoy this beautiful resort which has everything from bowling alleys and a fireside patio to a large casino and plenty of places to fill your belly! 

 LONG WAR DOUBLES WARHAMMER 40,000: $60.00

The Long War crew is bringing you their signature Long War Doubles 40k Tournament at the Cherokee Open! This event provides you the opportunity to play in a fun tournament on Sunday with a friend.

STAR WARS LEGION CHAMPIONSHIPS: $65

Welcome Commanders to the Cherokees Open: Star Wars Legion Championship! We have three incredible days of Legion planned for the weekend in Cherokees. The whole weekend will be made up of TWO (2) events that your single ticket will give you access to both! On Friday, we will warm up  by playing four (4) rounds of the Skirmish casual event. Saturday we will play three (3) Swiss rounds. Sunday will feature 2 side by side events. First the TOP 8 players from Saturday will play a single-elimination bracket to find a winner! All other players are welcome to take part in the redemption bracket! Both events will consist of 3 rounds.
