Eldar Sweep The Nottingham Super-Major: Top 3 40k Army Lists
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves. You can check out the details here.
Note: This event didn’t use the new 2023 Chapter Approved Arks of Omen
3rd Place: James Marsden – Necrons
2nd Place: Peter Dunlea – Adepta Sororitas
1st Place: Mike Porter – Eldar
Mike went with a tried and true Eldar list featuring Harlequins exclusively!
The First detachment was a Battalion led by a Shadowseer for psychic support and a Troupe Master to buff the rest of the list!
Troops saw a total of 30 Troupes, all of which seemed to be piling into Starweavers as usual.
Elites brought in two Death Jesters for their great chip damage and to help round out the point total to 2k. Then wrapping up the first detachment are, of course, the Star weavers to transport the Troupes in.
The second detachment is a patrol of harlequins doubling up and bringing a second Troupe Master, along with two more Troupe squads and two more Star Weavers.
All-in-all, this is straightforward and effective! Take advantage of the fantastic mobility and rush the opponents to win objectives and the game!
However we may not see this list again after the Balance Dataslate and Chapter Approved 2023 gets adopted into the new season.
