This legion likes the look of chrome so much that they made the entire army paint their armor that way.
It could be that they found some hidden archival footage of a group that used to roam the deserts of the old world, they refer to this archival footage as the fury road files.
Any way you look at it this is one sweet looking set of armor these guys got.
