Looks like we just got a stealth FAQ this morning about 40k Daemons. Apparently there was an ommision from the latest Daemon White Dwarf update, and GW lept in to correct it.
Remember this was the White Dwarf that was rumored to be “moved up” to precede the Chaos Space Marine Release instead of follow it (see my ramblings about it here).
Regardless we now have some clarification on an army that quickly seems to be filling the meta for sixth edition 40k.
Daemons got you down? More on that soon!
FAQs Q: Do models chosen from Codex: Chaos Daemons and / or the White Dwarf, August 2012, Codex: Chaos Daemons official update have the Daemon special rule from the Warhammer 40,000 Rulebook, or do they have the Daemon army special rule from Codex: Chaos Daemons? (p27)
A: All models from Codex: Chaos Daemons and/or the White Dwarf, August 2012, Codex: Daemons official update have the Daemon army special rule listed in Codex: Chaos Daemons with the addition of the Fear special rule from the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook and a 5+ invulnerable save.
