Before you open this month’s issue, be sure to use the three freebies that were included: two short stories from the Black Library, some cards for the Heroes of Black Reach board game, and a code to access three never before seen story missions in Inquisitor: Martyr. Moving on to the issue itself, this issue has something for everyone. There is a Custodes battle report, a Blood Bowl match report, new rules features for multiple Warhammer games, and much more. This issue also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Black Library.

This month’s paint splatter section has more on the basics of painting: types of brushes, base-coating, layering, etc. The next section covers how to paint House Orlock gangers for Necromunda. Several tips and schemes are shown to help new and veteran hobbyists get those hobby juices going. Golden Demon and the Reader’s Models were also great to look at this month.
