Tzeentch busted out his best warriors at Warzone Atlanta. Ahriman and a few buddies lead the charge! Check out this beautifully painted army.
Warzone Atlanta was home to hundreds of one-of-a-kind armies this year and players came from all around the world to take part. We’ll be looking at the Chaos side of things as Thousand Sons get put under our spotlight.
Forces of Tzeentch Arise
Magnus felt like Ahriman and a couple of the boys could handle the fight going down at Warzone. While Magnus may be out of the picture, there’s still a lot of bodies that can pack a punch.
Consequently, Ahriman in all his untargettable psychic glory is standing by other sorcerers and a Daemon Prince. He is a real threat to see on the table. He’s mobile, he can hide well, and he’s a psychic machine gun.
Swarms, swarms, and more swarms of Cultists and Tzaangors hit the field. Take a close look at a few of the Cultists. They’re actually Necromunda conversions for the House Cawdor gang.
Take a look at the amount of love that went into even the smallest models of the army.
Of course, some of the best shooting in the game can be found by a squad of Obliterators. If you roll hot, these guys can cripple a Knight in a single round. Check out the fleshy detail on their arms.
All in all, this army made Tzeentch proud. Between the Psychic shenanigans from Ahriman himself and the devastatingly vast amount of models, Tzeentch proved himself just as much a force to be reckoned with as any other Chaos god.
