Forge World just revealed a new bounty hunter for Necromunda. Come take a look at this beast and his 1980’s retro classic rogue trader roots.
Forge World just gave us a look at the new Gor Half-Horn miniature for the upcoming Necromunda: Underhive that will be available soon. Let’s see what they had to say about him.
The next generation of Necromunda is less than two weeks away, but it’s only just the beginning. Whether you’re planning on playing with the warrior-women of House Escher or conquering the underhive through the might of House Goliath, thanks to Forge World, you’ll be able to add a bestial bounty hunter to your roster – if you’ve got the credits.
Meet Gor Half-Horn. Nobody knows where this mysterious bounty hunter comes from, or quite how a member of one of the most hated subgroups in the Imperium* managed to get a bounty hunting license. Look familiar? That’s because Gor Half-Horn is, in fact, a re-imagining of a classic model from Rogue Trader from the abhuman auxilla – inspect him closely and you’ll even notice the Imperial Aquila on his chest.
As you can see this Beastman model is inspired from way back in the day when he could be fielded as part of an abhumans squad (like the squats or Ogryns).
IIRC they were fielded in squads of ten, and Sergeant was a Packmaster and could be upgraded with Power Swords, etc
The rules and fighter card for Gor Half-Horn will be included with the model, as well as the rules to include him in your next one-off or campaign game of Necromunda. This is just the first model of what Forge World has more models planned for Necromunda: Underhive, so keep your eyes peeled.
This one was even originally teased in the November 2017 White Dwarf on page 39:
Gor Half-Horn will be available for pre-order this Friday, so make sure you check back in with us for the price and full description of the new bounty hunter of the Underhive.
