Don’t miss the new Aeldari rules as we take a look some dirty Tips & Tactics from the Fracture of Biel-Tan supplement!
Today we are going to take a look at the brand new 40k supplement, the Fracture of Biel-Tan!
First we start out by flipping to the back of the book and the Forces of the Ynnari page. This page needs to be read and looked at carefully because you may miss the part where if you take the Reborn Warhost Detachment or any of the three other formations in the book then everything in it becomes the Ynnari faction and they lose certain rules such as Ancient Doom, Battle Focus and Power From Pain special rules, but you will gain other special rules like Strength from Death.
There are some great new rules in this book that really allows you to combo certain abilities into others, that will allow you to do phases like shooting or assault out of the normal order. This is going to add an extreme level of complexity to your games and you will probably need a sheet of paper to write down and keep track of everything that will be happening per turn.
We are now seeing formations, like Soulbound Vanguard, that allows us to take both Eldar and Dark Eldar units in one formation and they become Ynnari and gain a ton of new special rules from the Strength from Death special rule.
Get ready to see tons of the new Ynnead’s Net formations on the tabletop as Jetbike rules may have just jumped the shark in this book.

Though they long ago learned how to stave off the vile attention of She Who Thirsts – known as Slaanesh in the tongues of men – the Time of Ending yet tightens its grip on the Eldar. No matter the methods they use to escape the notice of the god who haunts them, the Eldar sacrifice much in the process.
Some Eldar refuse to abandon the glorious dream of building their ancient empire anew – or at least burning brightly before the end. Eldrad Ulthran, High Farseer of Craftworld Ulthwé, puts into place a plan to bring forth Ynnead, the slumbering God of the Dead. A daemonic host assaults Biel-Tan, corrupting its infinity circuit. Unlikely alliances are formed in the face of desperation. And the Gathering Storm darkens over the entire galaxy…
