FREE New Primaris Space Marines Sergeant Castus Miniature

FREE-New-Primaris-Space-Marines-Sergeant-Castus-Miniature-title-imageThe latest free miniature promotion from GW is here as you can get a shiny new Primaris Space Marines Sergeant Castus for a limited time only.

Traditionally the retail cycle is pretty slow for the next month or so and it looks like GW is enticing customers to buy with this new exclusive Sergeant Castus miniature.

It’s exclusive to the Games Workshop webstore only so keep that in mind as you vote with your hobby dollars, as your local game shops are most likely slow business-wise now too.

Warhammer Community unveiled what was already fully leaked from this morning as multiple hobbyists had already seen this posted on the webstore.

This exclusive model will be added – free of charge – to any individual order with a checkout value of more than £150 (or the regional equivalent) on Games-Workshop.com until midnight on the 28th of October, so you’ve got just one month to get yours. He won’t be available anywhere else either, so don’t miss your chance.

That’s $240 dollars in purchases here in America ($300 in Canada), which if you convert £150 to USD it should be a mere $205- yet another way Games Workshop profits. This is also why it’s so important to vote with your hobby dollars and support the stores/ retailers that are important to you.

FREE New Primaris Space Marines Sergeant Castus MiniatureThe model looks to come with two heads, helmeted and bare, and a very dynamic scenic base.  He is of course the latest in a long line of GW exclusive miniatures available from promotions, and at selected events.

FREE New Primaris Space Marines Sergeant Castus Miniature sprue

This plastic kit is comprised of 23 pieces with which you can build one Sergeant Castus model. He is stood in a dynamic pose representing a last stand against a horde of Necrons, the ruined bodies of which still crawl towards and claw at him. This kit comes with a choice of heavy bolt pistol or plasma pistol. There is also a choice of a helmeted or unhelmeted head, the latter of which is deeply scarred and depicts Sergeant Castus mid-battle cry. This kit is supplied with one 50mm Citadel Round base

The sprue looks to be the new “double-wide” size or the same as one squad size sprue, which has us thinking that GW will be trying to increase the MSRP up from $35 for a single plastic character soon, just by introducing more at the retail price point.  Some of the Ork releases have been $40 already with the great white squig mounted miniature $50 retail!

So overall a pretty cool promotion for hobbyists this fall, assuming you can in fact find what you are looking for in the GW webstore that has been plagued by stock issues for most of 2021.
